Viña Puntí Ferrer

Bottled Wine from Chile for Importers

A family winery in the Cachapoal Valley selling bottled Chilean wine under its own brand to importers in 20+ markets: seven lines, critic scores and direct supply.

Viña Puntí Ferrer is a family-owned Chilean winery that sells bottled wine under its own brand to importers and distributors in more than 20 markets on five continents. We grow, make and bottle at our winery in Santa Amalia, Rengo, in the Cachapoal Valley (D.O. Rapel), and we deal directly with the importer: no agents, no middlemen.

This page is for buyers looking for a bottled Chilean wine brand to import, distribute or list: what the range looks like, what the critics say, how a first order works and which documents travel with the wine. If you want wine bottled under your own label, see private label and OEM wine; if you bottle at destination, see bulk wine.

One Chilean brand, seven lines

Puntí Ferrer bottled wine is organised in seven lines, so a single supplier can cover the everyday shelf and the restaurant list:

  • Signature: the entry point to the brand, varietal wines from the Central Valley.
  • Reserva: varietals with ageing and valley character, including a Pinot Noir from Aconcagua.
  • Gran Reserva: the line with the most critic scores, from Cachapoal.
  • Conforme: our premium line, Cabernet Sauvignon and Carménère from Cachapoal.
  • Sparkling wines.
  • Innovation Series: new styles and projects, such as a red blend fermented in clay amphorae (tinajas).
  • Puntí Cero: alcohol-free wine, under 0.5 % alcohol by volume.

Every line has its own page with tasting notes, scores and technical sheets in PDF, so a buyer can review the wines before writing to us. See all wines.

What the critics say

Six Puntí Ferrer wines carry published scores from four international critics. The highest is 93 points from James Suckling for the Serie Tinajas Red Blend 2024.

Points Critic Wine and vintage Line
93 James Suckling Serie Tinajas Red Blend 2024 Innovation Series
92 James Suckling Conforme Carménère 2023 Conforme
92 Wine Enthusiast Conforme Cabernet Sauvignon 2022 Conforme
91 Vinous Reserva Pinot Noir 2023 Reserva
90 Tim Atkin MW (Best of Chile) Huevos del Loco Sauvignon Blanc 2025 Innovation Series
90 Wine Enthusiast Gran Reserva Carménère 2023 Gran Reserva

Each score belongs to a specific vintage, and we publish it that way. Winemaker Jorge Martínez runs production at Santa Amalia, and every lot is tasted and analysed in the laboratory before it ships. Full detail on awards and scores.

Why a winery from the Cachapoal Valley

Our winery is in Rengo, in the heart of the Cachapoal Valley, one of the Chilean areas best known for Carménère and Cabernet Sauvignon. The Puntí Ferrer family came to Chile from Catalonia, and that story is part of the brand. We export to more than 20 markets on five continents and have been exporting bottled wine, bulk wine and private label from the same winery for decades, which means a buyer gets one supplier for the whole Chilean category.
